Are you eligible for Irish citizenship?
If your parent was born in Ireland or Northern Ireland, you are eligible ✔.
If your grandparent was born in Ireland or Northern Ireland, you are eligible ✔.
If your great grandparent was born in Ireland or Northern Ireland, it is not usually possible for an individual to claim Irish citizenship via an Irish-born great grandparent. The exception would be if your parent claimed Irish citizenship before you were born.
